Richard Cohen has a sexual problem and he hates.. Hates Cheney

Iraq and the 'L' Word: "Clinton was impeached for lying about sex, but nobody -- that's nobody -- in the entire Bush administration has been fired, not to mention impeached, for this shedding of American blood. Cheney, a man of ugly intolerance for dissent, should have been the first to go. His has been a miserable, dishonest performance -- which he continues to this day."

You can tell if he met Cheney in the restroom at the movie theater he would keep it to himself.. Whew, what a pants load. I wonder what he really thinks about Cheney?

Why I ask would he be doing something so very.. boring. I mean it is just so coool to hate Cheney these days you practicly have to sign somehing saying that before you can get an iPod. In fact if you still like Cheney you must be a dork or whatever they call dorks these days.

E.J. Dionne Jr. is a selfish man

Bring Democracy to Congress:
"The current leadership in Congress simply refuses to revisit any of the tax cuts it has passed since President Bush took office. On the contrary, the leaders plan to push through $70 billion in tax cuts after Thanksgiving, including dividend and capital gains reductions that go overwhelmingly to the wealthiest Americans."

You know if our democracy fails it will be because people figured out how to vote themselves money from the treasury. If he really wants to pay more money for government then he can. There is a box he can check on his 1040ez. In the real world it is called shareware if you really like it pay for it -

I could care less if these wealthy people get to keep more money - hell they pay really for the whole government anyway. So what, it is their money... They get it it belongs to them.

The federal government needs less money not more less money. War would be better - we would have to have a really really good reason - like Isreal had already used up all its nukes or something so all we can do is really mess up a place rather than go and try to fancy pants.

It is like this .. If an intruder breaks into my house I am to poor to be able to purchase a Taser or even a real gun all I have is a shovel - that means if I catch someone in my house I have to beat them unconscious which takes more work and is harder on the intruder but I do not have to go to Wal-mart and spend 350 on a shotgun. We need to think more like this and less like someone with to much money and time on their hands...

And if E.J. Dionne Jr. wants to come by my house and take some of my money he can get a kiss from The Spade.

GM works

New Scientist GM pea causes allergic damage in mice - Breaking News

This is an interesting story. Mostly because there is so much anti gm hype that real problems get chicken little-ed. I think it shows that scientists are doing all they can to prevent problems with gm crops and that any gm crops that eventually make it to market can be trusted.

I wish that someone would label their food non-organic. GM is food that is better for the environment because of less chemical pesticides and better yields. It is better for poor countries and real poor people in America - people not poor enough to be on food stamps - Organic is really just a vanity.

Washington Post posts a fluffy

Ignoring the Facts:

"but it is even more deeply irresponsible to rewrite the history of how history was rewritten in the first place."

Ewwww What is that smell? It is the smell of indigestible news matter. Why say one thing when you can say the exact opposite with confusion? Help help me understand - oh I see we now have two versions of the facts - one supports the war the other makes the war unsupportable. What is the point?

I know As long as the caliphate is not created in the middle east we will have a better world.

As long as the caliphate is not created in North America I can have my topless Jennifer Anniston GQ.

The tinfoil hat has been replaced by a triangle of pink balls

Now, normally, I would make some kind of comment about this but, since it is so close to the American Holiday Thanksgiving, I will not. Posted by Picasa

Home-School shooting

"Kara Beth Borden"

this is actually the second act of violence in a homeschooling setting I know of... what a nightmare, especially for the the girl; she will have that on her heart forever, she let the evil into her house. What do you say? How do you get past that? Makes all my childhood traumas seem like bad trips to Disney World.

I can see how people may jump on this as a chance to say that Homeschooling needs to be regulated. But if this guy was at a public school what more could he have done? How many others may he have infected. We never really know if we have tomorrow..

While this seems to be rare - While I hate to second guess the dead I imagine that the warning signs were there. Kara was suddenly more withdrawn argumentative fearful worried about what she looked like a lot more. Things that are pretty normal for a teenager - but as a parent the intuition is most important if somebody seems creepy then they should not be in your life - period.

It is also important to keep a regular time like lunch every Tuesday - to spend with your teenage child and during that lunch you are like an CIA interrogator getting to know your child while using your superior age and training to get information and also imparting your ideology your worldview. We are not friends and facilitators to our children we are their protectors and teachers - we shape them and provide sanctuary. We are to be gatekeepers - to check the bags before they come in the house to monitor what they bring in through the computer or the phone. This is not a democracy but a benevolent dictatorship. You should not trust your children completely - it does them a disservice.

BuzzMachine » Blog Archive » Saving journalism isn’t about saving jobs

Why is this interesting?

Important news about your Prostate Gland.

:

"Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals."

Water is Evil

help water is coming to get us. Oh God help us save us from the water. Help.... water. Oh my, help; please save us from water....

In keeping with todays theme of Conspiracy theories

George W Bush and the 14 points of fascism - Project for the OLD American Century:

"The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy."

I think I have reached into a dark hole and something squishy is found...

these people are nut jobs - if you know anything about the history of fascism you know we do not live in a fascist society. You know really if you go to school and then get out and read more books and get a chance to live life for a while then you read crap like this idiot's it just makes a smart man want to scratch. If anything this lump of misguided baboon flung is an indictment of the foe we fight in this current war.

Kerry is having trouble letting go

Consortiumnews.com: "Kerry, too, appears to have weighed how he would look if he made accusations about possible hi-tech hijinks affecting the outcome of a presidential election. Pundits surely would have put him on the couch as a delusional conspiracy theorist"

He needs a rest. You know he really doesn't need to work any more.. He could just stay home and let somebody else be Senator.

Homeschool scholars - Concord Monitor Online - Concord, NH 03301

Home-school scholars - Concord Monitor Online - Concord, NH 03301

This is a great idea, one I wish somebody would do here where I live. I have had this same idea for a long while and it figures prominantly in my Lottery fantasies... I used to go to hobby shops and comic book stores they have rooms for gaming and fan club meetings.

I would like to see building with rooms and a play ground. Or a farm out in the country something that would be a great place to learn and for local tutors to have a place outside of their homes to teach.

What really is awful about this is that the National Public School System could be doing something similar. But education is not the top priority for any government agency - it is political control.

Re-Segregating American Schools

NEA: Jonathan Kozol extra

I am part of that - I run a segregated school... In my house - I am like any average taxpayer in that my dear wife the Superintendent of Education makes all the monetary and curriculum decisions I just come home and complain that dinner is not ready and sullenly clean the toilet or something... Home schooling is a lot of work for every one.

I am so glad I do not have to send my children to the National Public School System
